There’s a new star cracking jokes in the Broadway comedy Fish in the Dark—Jason Alexander! The Seinfeld favorite knows a thing or two about channeling playwright Larry David, so he’s having a “pretty, pretty, pretty good” time stepping into the former star’s shoes as Norman Drexel. Broadway.com Resident Artist Justin “Squigs” Robertson returned to the Cort Theatre to sketch the new star bringing the funny alongside Rosie Perez, Ben Shenkman, Glenne Headly and Jayne Houdyshell. Check out Squigs’ portrait, then see Alexander and the gang in Fish in the Dark through August 1!
About the Artist: With a desire to celebrate the magic of live theater and those who create it, and with a deep reverence for such touchstones as the work of Al Hirschfeld and the wall at Sardi’s, Squigs is happy and grateful to be among those carrying on the traditions where theater and caricature meet. He was born and raised in Oregon, lived in Los Angeles for quite a long time and now calls New York City his home.
